Scenario Paintball films

Here it is….the DVD everyone has been waiting for created for all of us that love Scenario Paintball….ladies and gentlemen The Catshack is pleased to present “Basic Painting.

There is an exponentially growing subsection within the multi-billion dollar industry of paintball. This is called “Scenario Paintball.”

What is this different type of paintball? Why do people play it? Why is it so vastly popular and continuing to expand?

Over the space of an hour or so, Basic Painting takes a good hard look at what makes a paintball game a scenario and not just a game, and why so many people are so completely enthralled by it. They will touch on how very much time and effort it takes to put together a successful scenario: The film examines all aspects of preparation, from individual players, scenario teams, command staff, to the event staff themselves.

Co-Host Aaron Kneppar (Co-Captain, team Loaded Crows, founding member ERSA), will serve as XO (second in command) of the Axis Army at West Point’s Spring 09 Combat Classic: The Battle of Riva Ridge

All action was filmed in full HD.

Throughout the hour-long episode, there are cut-ins of player and team profiles. Basic painting examines the different types of players and teams. Tank commanders, field marshals, and artillery commanders will all be available for interviewing in addition to the CO and XO of each side. There are about 30-50 individual teams ranging from 5-50+ in size that attended the Battle of Riva Ridge. Obviously they couldn’t interview everyone, but Aaron and Jay certainly had their pick of the captains from most of the top teams on the east coast. Some teams travel from as far away as Florida, Ohio and further to play at West Point scenarios once or twice a year.

Segments will include a short look at the campsites and organizational aspects to bring the non-scenario audience up to speed as to what is going on. This will also serve as an excellent primer for anyone wishing to become involved in the sport.

Some of the high energy battles are cut along with shots from the command tent. At least some of this is done with split screen and shown in real time: Depicting the sit-rep (situational report) delivered to command, the orders initiated and on the other side those orders carried out by the players, and their impact on the battle at hand.

The production is fully endorsed by both Paintball Sports Magazine and Eric Engler of Engler Custom Paintball Guns…support a great paintball product and order your copy today by visiting www.scenariopaintballfilms.com
