The pods are made from a very durable plastic material,  I would compare the material of a GxG guppy type pod. The material is not one that will break easily and the lid is actually thicker and more durable than what you will get on your standard paintball pod. They work just like the standard pod so the ease of use is as simple as can be. The pod has a different look overall to it but that is due to the collapsible nature of this pod. It was designed to save space in your gear bag and I need as much as I can get. I normally take no less than three markers and three tanks with me on top of the standard gear like a mask, pod pack, clothing, etc.
I applaud the think tank at Smart Parts for taking a simple product no one thinks about and improving on the standard. With room in your bag at a premium the space saving size is a welcome addition. As you can see in the pictures the standard pod can hold at most 5 balls more than the Transpod. I have purchased ten of these and I have recommended them to everyone on my team. The only downside is that since they are new to my gearbag I hate dropping them when I reload.
