SOFThe Catshack Reports enjoyed covering the “Conflict Vietnam III” event held at Soldier of Fortune Paintball in Hamilton ON. Saturday September 26th marked yet another great event at one of Ontario’s more permanent fixtures on the Canadian Paintball scene.

Come 2010 Soldier of Fortune Paintball will be celebrating their 10th anniversary as a field operation servicing this region of SOF 1Southern Ontario. Speaking with both Matt and Vince Firmi, owners of Soldier of Fortune, the field is ramping up to host some interesting events (but that’s another story). The field boasts 4 huge playing fields with different themes.

In this edition of the Conflict Vietnam series had the American forces squaring off with the Vietnamese in battles through a Tac Town…some open areas as well as some thick brush and steep ravines. Paintballers fought hard in some intense exchanges of paint. At the end of the day it was the Vietnamese with a well dressed General that won the day. One thing that can be easily said of Soldiers of Fortune paintball is the fair prices and at the same time providing interesting field terrain and buildings…and very cool prize giveaways at the end of every big game.

SOF 2As usual owners Matt and Vince were both welcoming and gracious hosts to The Catshack Reports speaking at length about the field and its operations. Aside from the outdoor location located at 6320 English Church Road, Mount Hope Ontario , Soldiers of Fortune has a pro shop located at 175 Plains Road East in Burlington ON.
