September 28th, 2009 A day that will live on forever in many paintballers minds. Another epic paintball game and more specifically the 21st installment of the Phoenix Project Flag Raiders Paintball Games.
As people started to arrive there was fear in the air as dark clouds gathered overhead but the Gods of paintball showed mercy yet again bestowing some great paintball weather. The scenario was set in the war torn country of Tipponia, lead by the the ruthless Dictator “Zee”, the country was torn by war and greed. The US sent in their top forces lead by General Bill and the freedom fighters of the Tipponian people, to end the suffering and bring a peaceful democracy to the people.
As the game started, The US Embassy and a small bombed out Mission Building
was brutally attacked early on in the game by Zee’s forces. Their campaign of total field domination lasted almost until lunch where as luck would have it, the sky’s opened up and a small amount of rain fell. As the Rebels were running for shelter the American forces came back and took control of the field until the last mission of the day where Zee was successful in capturing a bus with an oil executive on board and managed to hold the US off to extract him for victory.
The day ended off with owner Joe Kimpson announcing the scores for the day and handing out thousands of dollars in prizes to a bunch of lucky paintballers.
