paintballsMany times people that do not play this sport have asked us what paintball is, why we play and countless other questions.  These are very simple questions that do not have a simple answer.  Paintball means so many things to so many people.  So, in the search for what this means I have asked some of the biggest names in the sport this simple yet powerful question.

What does paintball mean to you?

JC Leabo – Owner of Suicide Guys

John AmodeaOwner of PaintballX3 magazine

This is my 25th year playing paintball and my 20th year working in the industry. Some of my best friends I’ve met in paintball and some of the best times I’ve had in my life have been in and around the game. I’ve been blessed enough to play on the Pro circuit, in some of the biggest scenario games in the world and in some of the greatest places on Earth.

Kirill Prihidni – Russian Legion

Paintball is a sport that makes me very different and unique in a very usual life.

Bea Paxson – Destiny, Legend of the sport

Means so much to me – met the love of my life – Mike Paxson. Traveled to places I probably would never have gone to if it wasn’t for paintball.

Eric Engler – Engler Customs

Paintball is the continuing and evolving sport that brings many of us closer together as friends and family.

Ollie Lang – Ironmen

Paintball really says a lot of things and means even more to me. Paintball to me is friends, people how share a common bond for a game or a sport however you take it. It’s a way of releasing frustrations and exercising your body and mind at the same time to be a better individual in a day to day bases. It’s about a sport that entails every sort of physical and mental ability that truly only a few people in the world know how to do properly because the sport is so new and changes every year.

This sport does not mean one thing to everyone, it has many meanings to many different people through out the world.  For some it is just a hobby taken up once in a great while.  To others it is on their minds with every breath taken.  For me it is a lifestyle, something you either live or do nt.
