Muppet Mower! One who owns the paintball field with authority is what we would consider a Muppet Mower. On par with that is the new company by Kitty Wandel, the goddess of Techpb’s forums. Kitty wanted to make a product that is fashionable and also functional at the same time. So here we are today with some new headbands to test out for our readership.
Words from the TechPB Goddess herself as to why she started making these:
“I have been playing on and off for about 10+ years now and never used to wear headgear until I got a dome shot dead center of the forehead that welted for about a week, it made for an interesting job interview the day after!
At the time I was a student and did not have a lot of cash, my room mate had a sewing machine so I cut up an old sheet and a piece of a towel and made myself a head band for the following week. Since then every now and again I’d make myself or a couple of friends headbands and never thought much of it until people started asking me to make them one. I make mine a bit longer than most other companies and people seemed to like it.
When I moved to the states I stopped making them until just after world cup where I was hit with a pretty nasty case of pneumonia, already having an immune disorder this was a big thing and I was pretty much house bound until just after Christmas. Being stuck at home gave me a lot of spare time. With $300 a week taxi bills taking me to and from the hospital I needed to find away to make some cash fast and after being rather firmly nudged by several of the TechPB members who wanted headbands I decided to start sewing again. Muppet_Mowers launched a couple of months ago and I have been rather surprised by the demand for the headgear and hope that next month I can begin custom embroidery on the headbands and beanies that I now sell.

This is a product made for paintball players by a fellow member of the paintball passionate flock. Kitty put this product out for those of us who want to look good while blasting our opponents back to the dead box. My personal favorite feature of these headbands is the extra long length to the tie backs. This is just something some of the other companies out on the market seem to miss.
