Another update from one of our favorite speedball and Catshack Sponsored team … the Max’d Kidz. On the road to the PSP to pit for Infamous, young Sawyer is living the good life and rubbing elbows with all the pros. Its always great to hear from young Sawyer and the team. Here’s another update from the Max’d Kidz who are quickly becoming infamous in their own right.
In our last update
1 – The team won the RPL 2 – Sawyer’s YouTube account passed the 50,000 views mark 3 – PBLive signed on as a sponsor 4 – Sawyer has his own segment weekly on PBLive called “Sawyer Sez” where he can discuss his sponsors and talk paintballNow – since then -
The Max’d Kidz competed as a team in their first Xball/PSP style event at the WCPPL Season Opener in Oceanside CA. They made it through Saturday as the #3 seed and into the Quarter Finals Sunday but unfortunately fell apart in the home stretch. The team feels they’ve a lot to learn about coaching and crowd noise. They usually communicate exceptionally well and that is considered a strength of the team, they just were not able to deal with all the noise on Sunday.
They added a player to the team – Brad Lombardo – and Chris Talbot came back from injury so they are now 7 strong.
Sawyer has aired 2 episodes of “Sawyer Sez” as well as a 20 minute interview on PBLive. Plainly put Max’d Kidz shows all of their sponsors much love in return for all of the support they have gotten.
Sawyer just did a photo shoot for Kingman Training. They are hoping to feature him in a new national ad campaign for their Chaser and Eraser pistols. Sawyer got to wear new goggles as well and thinks they are SICK. Sawyer himself states “they are lighter than I4′s, more protection than I4′s but still really small and way better peripheral vision – did I say they are SICKKKKKK?”
At the time that this article was being added to the Catshack Reports, Sawyer and Dan are on their way to Arizona, typing in the car, “Here we come PSP. Are any of you going to be there?”
Sawyer’s blog is now being loaded up from the past few weeks so be sure to check it out soon. http:sawyerpaintballer.blogspot.com
