Northeastern Assassins is a Scenario paintball team, founded by Greg Williams, that originated out of the Scranton area of Northeastern Pennsylvania. They have been playing together for almost two and a half years and have known one another for even longer. They practice most often during the summer and hang out with each other on a weekly basis.

Over the past two years we have played many of the big games at Skirmish USA, where we played our first scenario game together at their Battle for Britain in 2008. After getting a feel for scenario games we spent time working on team tactics.

The rest of 2010 is going to be light. We are planning on attending Skirmish USA’s 1,000,000,000 Man Mission and encourage others to come out and join us there!

October 23 rd – SKIRMISH’S ONE MILLIONTH PLAYER EVENTBased on our business projections, we will be marking our One Millionth Player…yes, 1,000,000 paintballers have battled it out on the Skirmish game lands. To celebrate this monumental day in the paintball world, we are hosting the “Millionth Man” mission oriented big game. In addition to the game, every player registered will receive a FREE PASS to come play again. There will also…… be a stage show where players can participate in a variety of contests for prizes (paintball eating, wet t-shirt, coolest gun, & best costume), a player raffle, huge Skirmish Pro-Shop Sale, and vendor trade show. $29.95 per person or $27.95 per person for groups of 20+ players that pre-register by October 13th. Limited to 3,500 players.

Skirmish USA is our home field, we play almost all of our games there, and a few at the now closed Command Post Paintball. The rest of the time we have small 20 man games against other local teams around the area in wooded parts we know are safe and out of the way.

Some highlights from over the years include a Most Valuable Team award given to us at Skirmish’s Battle for Stalingrad scenario game with roughly a thousand players to choose from. We were also at there I.O.N D-Day event and got an honorable mention as being ” the biggest ass kicking team in the Northeast” by the Allied Commander MadKow. The I.O.N game was great because we had 10 of our players on a special operations team that went behind enemy lines to “blow up” some bridges with a few members of the Allied Command Staff and did pretty well. Some other info on us is our motto “Fight hard, and die slowly” we are big into fighting to the last man and not retreating. Our team colors are black, white, and red digital camo. We chose these to get noticed by the people running the show and to make it easy to regroup. The team was originally the Scranton 6, as that team we won a Most Valuable Team at the 2007 Battle for Berlin, but that team broke up and and The Northeastern Assassins was born. We have a voting structure for our officers that takes place every six months to give even new members a chance to run the show if our team sees them as a good leader. We have members ranging from 15-50 years old and are still growing.
