Early morning, July 25th, the Catshack Reports descended on Defcon Paintball for the second scheduled day of their Defcon Extreme Speedball Series. Unfortunately unbeknownst to us the event had been scaled back to one day only and had wrapped up July 24th, the day before.What happened next had the day turn into a fun day of touring that included some hi jinx which sometimes happens when the Cat is set loose with a video camera.
The Catshack Reports came across the set of the Canadian TV Show “Covert Affairs” filmed in Toronto that airs on the USA Network. Unfortunately the paintball paparazzi didn’t exactly make it onto the set (yes we need to work on our paparazzi skills). Our media presence was turned away, but nevertheless wandering around the actors and actresses trailers and up and down hallways and through the set building department until we were accosted by set security was both interesting and hilarious.
Next the Catshack moved on location to the foot of the CN Tower and rolled out video taking us clear across the lake shore right by Ontario Place and the beaches as we continued filming all the way right up Bloor Street.
Eventually we arrived to 
have ourselves another look see at the CQB II Paintball facility. The Catshack Reports had not been by CQB II since the Grand Opening back in February of this year. Some changes noted included a brand new multi level “Church” building which more or less was “THE” finishing touch to this super Close Quarters Combat Paintball facility.
So if your in the Toronto area both Defcon and CQB are amongst some of the best outdoor paintball venues to come out and sling some paint at.
