Get ready for two of the greatest games of all time coming together, paintball and Risk! For those of you who have played the game one of the many things you’ll remember is long nights of play with friends and having a blast. Well now paintball is in the mix for a full 24 hours of paintball world domination!

There will be 4 countries fighting for supremacy, Canada, England, Australia and Canada, with all the players of their respective countries being given their country’s national flag bandana to identify them. These 4 countries will duke it out for 24 hours to determine who is the most dominant power on the globe. Each of these teams being lead by a team who is putting forth their own general.

Leading Canada will be Scott DeLisle of SAS Woodsball
His XO being Peter Jarvis

England being lead by TBA of ODST

Australia being lead by Tyler Wood of Danger Close
His designated XO being Lewis “Bushmaster” Prochnau

The United States being lead by ORaNGe of Citrus Connection.
His designated XO being Jason “DubGeek” Patrick

Pricing/Concessions

The price for entry will be $25 with cases of paint costing $60

Concessions will also be available including BBQ’s hamburgers, hotdogs, pop, Gatorade, water, etc.

———————————————————————————————–

There will be cash prizes up for grabs in this game, $4000 up for grabs to be exact. How often do you get to play a big game where you can flat out get paid to play?

The way it works?

Every country on the map is worth $100 at the end of the game IF the team holds the entire continent, given that it is Risk afterall, much like in the board game there are massive rewards for owning a continent.

If only ONE team holds a continent or more than 1 continent this payout will DOUBLE to a maximum of $4000.

If no teams hold a full a continent the team with the most points in the round robin will take home a cash prize.

The Perks

At this event players will have access to free camping on-site, free airfills, there will be fireworks throughout the night portion of the game, BBQ and beverages available, vendors selling gear such as CPHQ and Recon Paintball as well as other great benefits.

On the field perks are in play as well, here they are,

-Shoot the other teams general, receive a free bag of paint

-Prizes may also be hidden randomly on the field, this could include anything from a free pod of paint or stickers/swag (they will be marked so you know they are prize pods), right up to a free tank or mask!

How does this game work?

Here is the breakdown, staying true to the game of Risk the elements of chance, and luck will play a large role in this game, as will strategy.

This will be run as a round robin with every country playing a total of 20 games, if these 20 games do not occupy the full 24 hours it will be up to the generals and staff of Crazy Bill’s which route will be taken, whether it’s to continue round robin play or if an open free for all will take place after that.

Prior to each scheduled game (20 minutes alotted), the two generals doing combat, or their designated XO will approach the game board and in the presence of a Crazy Bill’s staff member will each roll a dice. The general rolling the highest will have the choice of either which territory to attack for, or which field they will play on. Whichever choice the winner takes the loser will choose the other option, so if General A chooses a specific country to attack, General B will have the choice of which field they will play on. From that point they will both roll again with the winner of the roll choosing which side of the field they will play on.

A large laminated game board will be in play with country ownership designated by team. Territory cards will be issued at random prior to the game’s start, 40 cards will be issued, Japan and Kamchatka of Asia have been removed from play to give a round number of 40 countries in play giving each team 10 countries to start. Japan and Kamchatka may be brought back into play and given to a team who is on the verge of elimination prior to the completion of the 20 game round robin if deemed necessary by field staff. This is simply for the continuity of the game and the enjoyment of the players attending.

Each general will approach the ref in charge prior to the game beginning and give the ref their territory card, the general who chose the territory attack providing the card of his choice, the general who is “defending” will bring the territory card of the country the competing general chose to attack.

If a team is eliminated prior to the completion of the full 20 game round robin, the game schedule will be adjusted to accomodate for 3 team play.

Games may be forfeited by a team’s general, this may be a tactical decision, if a territory which the team does not value is being played for they may choose to forfeit the territory and allow their team more rest prior to their next game.

In regards to payouts, the generals are asked to payout any prize money in equal shares to every player on their team. *IF A PLAYER LEAVES PRIOR TO THE ENDING OF THE GAME THEY WILL RECEIVE NO PAYOUTS*. Players are also expected to play the duration of the game in order to receive a payout, this can be recorded by the generals by numbering each one of their players and the players providing their numbers to the general or XO prior to each game so the games are logged. This is simply provided so that those who played for the prize money are the ones receiving it, rather than a player playing in the first 10 games then simply sleeping through the rest of the event and expecting a payout.

Teams will be capped at 60 players, teams short of players will be balanced by Crazy Bill’s staff with teams/walkons/renters in attendance.

The round robin element of the game will only come into play if no team holds and entire continent at the end. In that case prize money will be given to the team with the most points after the round robin. 2 points will be awarded for a win, 1 point if the team loses but still has at least 1 player still in play at the 20 minute mark (end of game) and 0 points for a loss with no remaining players.

Generals/their designated XO’s will be notified after each game when their next scheduled game will be. It is up to the general or XO to keep track of time and to muster their players for the game. The game will begin the second it is scheduled for and no later with no further players being allowed to step on the field. This is a STRICT time limit, players not touched up to their home base for the game on the field ONE MINUTE prior to the game’s start will not be allowed to participate. So, if your game is scheduled for 8pm, only the players on the field and touched up by 7:59pm will be permitted to play. It is up to the generals, XO’s and your fellow teammates to ensure that you have your players on the field and ready to play on time.

Requesting which side you play on in pre-registration is not a GUARANTEE that this will be the team you play with. The game must remain balanced and fair in regards to numbers, however Crazy Bill’s staff will do the best they can to accomodate team choices. Teams and players who do not pre-register will be placed where needed.

The game will begin at 12 noon on Saturday, it will continue until 2pm Sunday. Two meal breaks will be alotted where all play will cease, these breaks taking place at 8pm and 6am. Though only two one hour meal breaks will be allowed, realistically there will often be 40 minutes between games allowing for players to get some food.

The fields in play? There will be,

The Chemical Field* – This field being composed of a small fort on one end and an RV on the other, in between is a series of barrels on their sides and stacked to form triangular bunkers, large square plastic tanks and large round plastic holding tanks. There is also a camper, a 2 cars and a small pickup with an “M2 heavy machine gun” in the box of it. This is a dense and action packed field.

The Town* – This field is occupied by many small to medium sized buildings as well as many solid wooden bunkers.

The Woods – A large and very well groomed woodsball field with trees, bunkers made from natural materials varying in height, width and density.

The Airball Field* – An NPPL regulation sized field 200′ x 100′ with airball bunkers.

Fields may be added or removed from play as deemed necessary.

All fields with * will be lit and in play for the night portion of the game, more may be made available if possible.
