Having been to many fields across North America and in my professional opinion, PRZ has fast become one of those paintball facilities that ALL teams and individuals should be prepared to drive many many hours to visit and play a game.

Field features on 50 acres of land that house two and three story buildings covering 100000 square feet…. serious CQB gun battles up and down long hallways and into stairwells, whats not to love about this place?. I am not sure if PRZ is crazy insane or insane crazy as it pertains to exactly how cool this place really is.

For this game, players were divided into three factions, the Wastelanders lead by Sarge of Erins Army, the Mutants lead by Wanderley of Team B.A.C.A.R.A and the Military Government lead by Charles of WCP Kingston. As the day began, clashes between factions occurred throughout the facility as squads ran into each other in the halls or on the grounds outside. One twist saw some of the teams creating alliances which began as the Wastelanders began to dominate the game. Once objectives were accomplished the alliances quickly dissolved on account of the factions once again turning on each other in this dog eat dog scenario. General Charles with the Military Government himself ran into one squad and eliminated many of them with a rubber training knife. Yes at one point on the Sunday, the old Tomcat joined Sarge and the Wastelanders in an attack and defend scenario game, suffice it to say we lead the defense and the attackers did not succeed, ending in a win for General Sarge and the Wastelanders …. intense doesn’t entirely encompass this event for sure!

Team Prodigy and Dinamyc Scenarios were also on location with there Dune Buggy attack vehicle. While it was not fielded for this event Dinamyc has an interesting collection of vehicles as part of their business that make a great addition to any organized scenario. If that was not enough the crew also brought along a fantastic array of fireworks for those camping over on Saturday night as seen in the Catshack video below. Want Dinamyc Scenarios and their garage of attack vehicles at your event, feel free to get in touch with them HERE

In the words of attendee A Train TZB all the way from Michigan “PRZ should be one of North Americas paintball play grounds, definitely a field the paintball community should get behind as a whole to insure the field remains in business for future generations to enjoy. When you dream of playing paintball THIS is one of the places you dream about. A-Train & the friends of Track 21 headed up to Prince Edward Recreational Zone for one of the most amazing events and experiences you can ever have in paintball” Also in attendance were none other than this years winner of Miss Catshack, Miss Catshack 2012 Sarah Budzyn “By the way everyone, PRZ Paintball is LEGIT AS ****! Make sure you put it on your places to go because it is completely 100% worth it” mentioned Sarah on her experience there. Sarah in the company of the Mad Frog Portable Paintball Crew also from Michigan thoroughly enjoyed themselves all weekend for what was Sarah’s first Canadian paintball experience. Speaking of Mad Frog Portable Paintball, the traveling entourage hauled in a twenty five foot trailer with a golf cart all of which made for real comfort in the staging area…. thanks!

The Catshack alongside Miss Catshack 2012 and A Train TZB did select our MVP of the event and awarded young Mouse of the Asylum Assassins, the PRZ home team, with a DeadlyWind Barrel from the Catshack and a Valken Headband courtesy of Rob McLellan of the Ontario Valken Corps. 10 year old Mouse not only impressed us all with some stellar game play, holding her own versus seasoned veterans, she also policed the staging area and yelled at anyone without a barrel sleeve on. Mouse was AWESOME!

As another great addition to this two day paintball extravaganza, several members of the cast and crew of popular online paintball show ” Behind the Bunker” were also in attendance including A Train, Josh “Zuby” Zubrickas and Chris “The Great Canadian Honey Badger” Hazard aside from myself Tom “Tomcat” Cunningham. The Behind the Bunker team livened things up with antics both on and off the field that onlookers enjoyed thoroughly. Vendors included Pinnacle Paintball, Erins Army, Milsim Exclusive and KOK Paintball.

Special thanks to BigJay McClinton and the Asylum Assassins who really took care of The Catshack through the weekend, Tim and Jean Hill-Williams and the staff at PRZ Paintball, Team Prodigy/Dinamyc Scenarios and last but not least Kyle Lecuyer, game coordinator. Great times with great people.

Overall another awesome experience to add to our list for the Catshack tour 2012. Don’t miss out on the next one, PRZ is a MUST do field …. for more on PRZ Paintball please visit www.przpaintball.ca/

  1. Awesome picks. So sorry I did not make it. At-least WCP Crash had a blast.
