I have known Thomas Mok, owner of Ripple Industries in Richmond Hill, ON a very long time. A truly dedicated paintballer who entered the business with a pro shop back in 2005. Although only six years ago, it was much more difficult to find a solid paintball store around the region in those days. Thomas, a veteran of paintball since 2000, answer was to open a shop himself and fill a much needed paintball niche in the area.
September 22nd, 2012, the natural evolution for Ripple Industries. “I joined the BuyPBL family of stores as I have been working with them for years and years, working together to improve the sport. This was the next logical step for Ripple” says Thomas. The inaugural grand opening combined with a big sale under the BuyPBL banner had a line up right out of the door, as consumers flooded into the shop seeking the great deals to be offered. Yes even the top brass from BuyPBL to include President Robert Lee and Louie D’Alessio were in attendance all the way from Montreal to herald in this momentous occasion.
The shop itself has an extensive line of Tippmann markers with all manner of modifications to accommodate even the most avid of paintball players. Other product lines include VForce, Draxxus, A-1 Tactical, SWAT Original Boots, Condor and GenX. Essentially any of the BuyPBL line of goods can be found at Ripple and then some. “We do a lot of special orders in for people seeking specific products we do not have in stock, if I can’t help you, I will direct you where to go to find what you are looking for” Thomas added.
The store also offers marker tech services for markers needing repairs AND on some brands, the store is prepared to educate its customers with a full tutorial to learn how to tech themselves as they are fully certified on Tippmann, Tiberius and a few other markers. How cool is that!
