Kool Kat Contest 2011
The Catshack Reports is pleased to present our latest and greatest contest aimed at honoring those paintballers that truly deserve it!
What is the Kool Kat Contest? Simply put we here at The Catshack Reports Paintball News wish to honor individuals between the ages of 16 and 25 for their service to the world of paintball. This is a contest designed to reward an individual for his/her service to the sport. Let the paintball community be the judge as we once again go to the polls to determine the most deserving. For this contest, only the first thirty submissions will be accepted… hurry and get yours in today!
How do I enter? Those wishing to enter need to have someone nominate them by submitting a photo AND a short note of 250 words or less all about what this person has done in furtherance of paintball. For example we want to hear all about the person who helps with Young Guns at their field or perhaps promotes paintball in a very positive way by getting new people involved. The winners will be awarded the title of The Catshack Reports Paintball News “Kool Kat” for 2011! Please forward all entries to catshackreports@gmail.com
Prize packages will be awarded to the first place and runner up as determined by the votes. Yes, prize packages will also be shipped right to your doorstep!

Rules
1. The contest is open to US and Canadian citizens only all entrants MUST be 16 years to 25 years of age. All entries MUST be submitted by an alternate person who is “nominating” said entrant in recognition for his/her service to paintball
2. The prize package is not redeemable in cash and must be accepted as awarded.
3. All submissions become the property of The Catshack and all contest sponsors and may be used in future promotional material.
4. All submissions MUST be tasteful in nature and will be pre screened upon receipt.
5. The Catshack and all contest sponsors reserve the right to disqualify entries that we deem inappropriate or do not meet the criteria of this contest at our discretion with both the Catshack staff and the sponsors making said final decision.
6. Decisions of the contest are final no substitutions will be available.
7. Accepting the prize constitutes permission for our Sponsors to make public and otherwise use winner’s first name (with last name being voluntary) and picture without further compensation. Winner MUST agree to additional photo’s for promotional purposes only.
8. One entry per person.
9. Contest Submission Deadline (October 18, 2011). Upon closing, The Catshack will allow the readership to vote via user poll. Polls will close November 18, 2011 at 12 midnight Eastern Standard Time
10. The final winning entries will be announced and awarded their prize packages on November 19, 2011
I wish I could nominate about 15people or more which leads to the questions, can you nominate more than 1? Are ballers turned entrepeneurs with products and pricing made to benefit thier fellow ballers eligible? As I cannot nominate I sure hope anyone who knows the following people in my local area nominates them for thier own reasons which they have to provide…..

I would like to nominate Kevin “Kevlar” Quinn as well. Kevin I’ve had the honor of playing paintball alongside him for the past 5 or 6 years now, and he is so dedicated it amazes me. From playing with him at our local fields, to listening to his podcast, random conversations, and the videos he did back when he was in school, he has done so much for the sport. He has an unbiased view on his show, and is willing to cover anything that is related to paintball. Great job Kevlar! Keep it up, and good luck!
