Once again the Commonwealth will be hosting a military style full auto shoot.

The shoot will be held on Wednesday, June 8 and is open to everyone at D-Day 2011. It will start at about 9:30 AM and will end at about 2:30 PM. The convoy to the range will leave the Commonwealth compound at 9:00 AM, so don’t be late. Please bring your own vehicle or make arrangements to ride with someone. Paintball is a sport where you can play anywhere your imagination allows, from a action packed speedball event to a distant planet with creatures never seen with human eyes. This is one of the biggest attractions to this sport, that there are so many variations available to us. So, with my mind never too far from thinking about this game and where I would like to play I have decided to put together a little paintball “Bucket” list of my own dream events to play. Following an exhaustive round of event coverage last Sunday, the Catshack Reports telephone hotline started to ring off the hook at approximately 1900hrs. Elements of D Day’s very own 1st CAN PARA Able Company put out the invite for the Catshack to join them as they were coming in hot the following day to the LZ at Soldiers of Fortune Paintball in Hamilton ON for the annual Labor Day big game. So, this was my first time at Oklahoma D-Day. I had always heard about the legend that D-day was. I decided back in January that this year I would go. I bought my ticket and began to pack. June 6th came quickly and I suddenly found myself boots on ground in hot, dusty Wyandotte, Oklahoma, home of D-Day Adventure park!. I was fortunate enough to hook up with a group that gave me shelter for the week. My accommodations were not luxurious but they were dry. Continue reading »

Perhaps one of the most infamous periods in history starts with June 6th, 1944 as the invasion of Normandy began and Allied troops stormed the beaches. June 6th is a day that people should stop and reflect on. June 6th has also become a day that many use to create historical re enactments so that we can always remember and perhaps teach the younger generations a thing or two about history. I went to college at Kettering University in Flint, MI, where I met my business partner and close friend Matt Fittante.  I started playing real paintball at Hell Survivors and got shot out by a Golf Kart tank at the Monster game 2006 and it annoyed me.
