The Maltese Militia Announces our 2012 Custom Prize Package.
The Maltese Militia is proud to announce that we will be continuing our Custom Prize Package. Over the past several years the Maltese Militia has given away a prize package to a lucky player at 5 of our events. These events are either our largest events, or charity fund raisers. Last year we gave away our package in support of two events that raised money for the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation through the Guns for Hoses events, as well as a Breast Cancer fund raiser. The other two were given away at events at Castle Conquest at EMR Paintball and at a local field for the Monty Python and the Holy Grail game early in the spring. Continue reading »
Just when I thought it could not get any better than this… it did! The Maltese Militia Paintball Team thanks all of our sponsors for a great 2011 season. While this year had its share trials and tribulations with members having deaths in their family and events happening during very inclement weather. It has come to our attention along with many others that there are thieves amongst us! According to Blue Hanse from Blues Crew, Sunday after the Castle game some paintball equipment was stolen out of EMR’s bunk houses during the prize giveaways. CASTLE CONQUEST consists of the LONGEST RUNNING and LARGEST ATTACK & DEFEND GAME in paintball that purely defines the words “PURE PAINTBALL INSANITY” and is based around the Largest, Nastiest Castle in Paintball; CASTLE AAARRGH! The game also encompasses six other fields of EMR: TIPPMANN TOWN, AMBUSH ASSAULT, FORT BLUE’S CREW, BREW CREW BREWERY, IROQUOIS INVASION, and FERRYMEN’S AIRFIELD. The odds of Attackers versus Defenders are 4 to 1 and the NORWICH CADETS PAINTBALL TEAM will be leading the defenders. ROADTRIP! The full journey the Catshack Reports embarked upon just last weekend was nothing short of epic. From my home here in Ontario, Canada, we crossed the border into New York State without incident. Following a quick stop at the Buffalo Airport to pick up another big Castle Conquest fan we continued on into Pennsylvania State. For those who have never experienced Pennsylvania, the rolling hills and mountains provide a very scenic panorama that make that State a great place to hold the likes of EMR’s Castle Conquest in New Milford.
