2010, The Season that was …
In 2010 we continued moving our team forward. We attended a bunch of great events in multiple states. We were not immune from the down turn in the economy as we did less events this year than in years past. Since we did fewer events, we leaned towards charity events in which to play. The Catshack Reports was absolutely astounded at the droves and droves of paintballers that braved the elements for Flagswipe Paintball’s 9th annual Day of the Dead big game. 738 of the most hardcore ballers in Ontario and beyond materialized despite the numbing cold and penetrating rain that ruled the entirety of the morning. Even the Catshack media coverage was at a grinding halt and instead we took to the field to referee the player Hospital due to the impossibility of breaking out the Cat Cams for a full third of the event due to the adverse weather conditions. Later in the morning the rain subsided and we hit the field with a vengeance to catch a ton of players on both film and video footage on the field and in the staging area for one of the sickest games ever held at the new location to date. BLANDING CONQUEST in Florida on Feb. 19/20 of 2011 now has a Leader for the DEFENDERS in Kevin Cassidy of Team DISCIPLES. He is a long time veteran of numerous CASTLE CONQUESTS at EMR and several BLANDING GAMES and will be joined by Teams DELTA, DOOM TROOPERS, EXILED SOULS, DALE FORD and the SOUTH BEACH PIMPS. The WEEKEND: Pumper’s Pandemonium is a full weekend of strictly all Pump Paintball Action. Starting on Saturday Morning with an all Pump Big game that will be produced by Home Team STOCK CLASS PAINTBALL, this weekend brings together Pump Players from all across the country. Saturday Night is hanging out with Old School players of vast Pump Knowledge and attending the PLAYER’S PARTY in the REC. CENTER provided by CARTER’S COMMANDO. Sunday is a variety of Stock and Pump Games that will be Flag Based and played on a Variety of Fields. Continue reading »
While we usually only make two trips to EMR, we added a third this year as Western Wars was made a fund raiser for the families of fallen firefighters and police officers. This made this an event we just could not miss. Great field, great players and a great cause. Continue reading »
WESTERN WARS pits the Soldiers and Settlers that are trying to take over the land against the Native American Warriors that are trying to take back their land. Both sides will be fighting over FORT WORR and various outposts and camps throughout the land for control with a total of 13 flags. These also include APACHE BUTTE, BLUE’S SALOON, DEUCE’S DEN, DEATH VALLEY BRIDGE, ENGLER’S OUTPOST, HACIENDA, the MINER’S CAMP, DELTA TRAPPER CAMP, OK CORRAL, OUTLAW LAIR, SUE’S BORDELLA, and TOMBSTONE.
