RockStar Paintball, fresh from their big win and 1st Place Divisional Title in the RXL Central Division August 7th, hosted a great event.
The recent RockStar franchise team Tryouts/Party was a huge success, Sunday August 14th, 2011, at Vaughan Extreme Paintball near Toronto, Ontario. More than 50 regional speedball players appeared to make the attempt and possibly succeed in getting their own RockStar jersey. Tactical Operations Grand Opening August 5th and 6th
I had the opportunity to take to the phones and speak with Mike Boers. Mike along with his business partners Keith Pol and Derek Metcalfe set out on an adventure in 2009. Mike is no stranger to paintball he was a very active player during the years of 1998 – 2001. His work took him out of the game for a while.
Well now he’s back! Playing along side Keith Pol and members of the “Roughnecks Paintball Team” as well as starting up a new paintball store “Tactical Operations”. Continue reading »
The first CXBL event belonged to the Rockstar Camp. Practicing through the winter getting to know each other and learning how to work as a team paid off with wins this past weekend.
Through the rain & mud on Saturday May 14th 2011 the RXL Division team – Sarnia Rockstar racked up a solid 2-0 start to the 2011 season. After the bar was set, the CX4 Division teams followed up on Sunday May 15th 2011 in much milder weather with Rockstar Wawa bringing home the 1st place prize and Owen Sound Rockstar Extreme taking second place. RS Mount Hope Bedlam placed 8th with high heads setting their goal for the next event. Continue reading »
