The 2012 season is gearing up to be a big one. We have made a fair number of changes to the series this year and all for the better.
- Shadow Squad is back as the reffing crew.
- Gun restrictions are gone any marker can be used as long as there are 12.5 BPS and 280 FPS.
- 4 on 4 and adding a mystery canister “Booby Trap”.

Some of the highlights since the team’s humble beginnings would have to be being invited to join the Canadian Tactical Series (CTS) back in 2008, at the time they weren’t the top team by any means. This season the BT Series had three events and we hosted one of the events at a different field for the series … Wasaga Beach Paintball. What can I say, the beach and paintball of course is a perfect match and we will be returning to Wasaga again next year to host an event. The battles were glorious at the ESPL Sunday July 17, 2011. Players from across Southern Ontario endured the scorching heat to compete at Flagswipe Paintball`s outdoor location in London in Event 3 of the series. The entirety of the first half of the day was devoted to 8 Young Guns teams eager to make a name for themselves. I’ll never forget my first introduction to paintball. I was in grade 10 at the time, a mere teenager. School was tough, I was overweight, no one wanted me around and all I did was work and play video games. One day I saw a sign in my local military surplus store. It was advertising a Brass Eagle Tiger Shark paintball marker. I asked the store employee about the marker and the sport as I was interested in playing. Continue reading »
