The off season has been a busy one. Shadow Squad is back again this year alongside Flagswipe Paintball to bring you the #1 Scenario tournament out there the BT Series. We have made a few changes this year to the series, all for the better of course.
A little taste would be the addition of the “Tactical Nuke” and the “Meat Bomb” as well as gun restrictions. We will be returning to 4 events plus a 5th as the finals. Continue reading »
On April 10th 2011 from 12pm-5pm at Flagswipe Paintball’s outdoor location we are holding a BT Series Meet & Greet plus a practice. Come on out and meet the reffing staff and the other teams you will be playing against.
We are taking this time to go over all the rules and any concerns or comments you may have about the series and then we can go over a little walk through on the game format after which we can shoot some paint. I understand the reffing staff Shadow Squad will even have their gear there if you want to play against them. Continue reading »
The Catshack Reports recently had occasion to touch base with young up and coming teams London Blitz/London Express Kidz and the man behind it all, their coach and mentor Matt Hughes.
This group is one that is close to the Catshack in that members have risen in the ranks since my personal involvement in the Young Guns beginners program at Flagswipe Paintball in London ON. The kids persevered and have grown exponentially in both skill and athleticism. Continue reading »
Sheriff Eben Oleson: All right, time to talk. Who are you here with? Who are you here with?
[the Stranger whimpers in pain]
Sheriff Eben Oleson: Who did that to Gus?
The Stranger: You’re a dead man.
Sheriff Eben Oleson: Where are they?
The Stranger: [while foaming at the mouth] I don’t talk to dead men. I don’t talk to dead men!
Sheriff Eben Oleson: Well, if I’m dead no one lets you loose from here.
The Stranger: You’re all dead!
Quote from 30 Days of Night
February 2010, the Human settlement barely survived the vicious onslaught at the hands of a pack of blood thirsty Vampires. A year after the bloodshed, burning and destruction of Barrow, the people of the city can’t forget the horror they experienced. Very few survived with their lives. Enduring a month of fear and bearing witness to the hundreds of butchered friends left them with injuries that will never heal. Even the government ignored their statements of events, labeling it a “Gas Line Malfunction”. They continue on, rebuilding their community and the lives. Continue reading »

Throughout the year I made my way clear across the heart of paintball for Canada right here in Ontario and also had a chance to cross the border for my very first forays into the United States to experience paintball such as it is there.
