NPPL Las Vegas World Championships – We took 9th. We missed the cut by 18 points – meaning of the 21 teams they took 8 to Sunday and we just missed it. We had a super hard bracket and learned a few more lessons about the importance of scoring points in the NPPL and not just winning games (5wins, 3 losses was 18 points short. Two other 5-3 teams made it in.) The teams who played in the Finals (Top Gun and Savage) were in our bracket so we feel we played great. Watch out for us in 2012. It was a great event and we have a lot to build on for the 2012 season now. Can’t wait for HB in the spring. Continue reading »

Tactical Operations Grand Opening August 5th and 6th
I had the opportunity to take to the phones and speak with Mike Boers. Mike along with his business partners Keith Pol and Derek Metcalfe set out on an adventure in 2009. Mike is no stranger to paintball he was a very active player during the years of 1998 – 2001. His work took him out of the game for a while.
Well now he’s back! Playing along side Keith Pol and members of the “Roughnecks Paintball Team” as well as starting up a new paintball store “Tactical Operations”. Continue reading »
Max’d Kidz opened up their 2011 season last weekend playing Division 2 in RPL Event #1 in Southern California. The competition was stiff and the team came up just short of what would have been miraculous, a first place finish at their first Division 2 tournament, bumping up from Division 4 last season. The squad made it to the finals but couldn’t quite get over the hump and ended up taking 2nd place. First place would have been great, but we are still pleased with 2nd place to open up a new season in a higher division. Continue reading »
Dave Massey, owner of Hells Survivors in Michigan in cooperation with Tippmann Sports rolled out the red carpet for this years 12th Annual Tippmann World Challenge. For those unaware it was in fact Mr. Massey’s idea to host the very first Tippmann Challenge 12 years ago, an annual game that is now held in different countries all around the world.
Several Tippmann executives appeared to set up their impressive display
of Tippmann hardware and accessories. This included not only the well known sales staff but also members of the Research and Development team responsible for both the Phenom and TPX markers AND Mr. Denny Tippmann Jr. himself as acting General for the Tippmann Army taking to the field alongside “Narf” of the Great Lakes Rangers.
