Over 200 paintball enthusiasts from all over Ontario descended on Soldiers of Fortune Paintball to take on Hamilton’s own Emergency Task Force Personnel, all in an effort to raise funds for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Make-A-Wish_LogoMountain Valley Paintball Park hosted its annual Make-A-Wish game, put together by West Virginia University Students to benefit those in need.  The attendance for the game was great with approximately two hundred people making the trip to the field.  Frat houses battled it out in their annual slug fest to see who would be the top fraternity at the university while sororities cheered them on from the sidelines. cfire_002Crossfire started in the fall of 2005 with 4 members who shared a common interest in Paintball. They had all experienced the frustration of paying a premium at local fields with only a handful of players turning out on any given weekend. Jason Schaber had played fewer than 5 times in the 10 years since graduating High School. Their church was encouraging community groups based on shared interests, they had a desire to play more often and see the sport grow, so Crossfire was born. Continue reading »
