A little dialog with the fans of the “Russian Legion”

Dear fans,

We are grateful for your support of the team and your belief in us for so many years. You are always with us no matter what: victory or fail. We believe that we may always rely on your trust. We always feel your love. When you are upset with our fails we are upset even more. Therefore we think that it would be much more honest if you get the news about the Club and its life not from the paintball forums’ rumors but from us. We will try to share with you all our news not from time to time but on the regular basis. Continue reading »

NPPL Las Vegas World Championships – We took 9th. We missed the cut by 18 points – meaning of the 21 teams they took 8 to Sunday and we just missed it. We had a super hard bracket and learned a few more lessons about the importance of scoring points in the NPPL and not just winning games (5wins, 3 losses was 18 points short. Two other 5-3 teams made it in.) The teams who played in the Finals (Top Gun and Savage) were in our bracket so we feel we played great. Watch out for us in 2012. It was a great event and we have a lot to build on for the 2012 season now. Can’t wait for HB in the spring. Continue reading »

It only makes sense to begin the first of our three part series on the site seeing I did during the recent Catshack mission to beautiful Langkawi Island in Malaysia. Catshack cameras were rolling as we touched down at the local airport and moved out to begin to take in some rather breath taking countryside. Langkawi is an island with stunning scenery and world class beaches, the heat and humidity seal the island as a tropical gem. The first full day on the island was spent relaxing from the long journey that brought us to the white sandy shores of Langkawi. The Catshack immediately set to work interacting with locals and teams coming in from around the world to participate in one of the top speedball tournaments of the year that is the WCA 2011. The competitions held over this past weekend at FlagRaiders Paintball in Kitchener ON marks a milestone in CXBL/MXL/RXL history as a total of 4 separate playing fields ran games concurrently, a first in this region and quite possible all of Canada. Teams from across Ontario appeared to smash it out in the race to NAX, and smash it out is a real understatement! Continue reading »

The annual Redneck Festival at Adrenaline Paintball in Melbourne ON was another caliber event the Catshack Reports can easily add to our top ten listing of events for 2011. The Redneck theme saw players pitted against each other as either the “Rednecks” led by General Sarge Morin of Team Weazel vs “The World” led by Adam Nelson of Team OpFor. Other area teams in attendance through the weekend included Aces Wild, Veens Irregulars and The Northern Gunmen Continue reading »

Max’d Kidz opened up their 2011 season last weekend playing Division 2 in RPL Event #1 in Southern California. The competition was stiff and the team came up just short of what would have been miraculous, a first place finish at their first Division 2 tournament, bumping up from Division 4 last season. The squad made it to the finals but couldn’t quite get over the hump and ended up taking 2nd place. First place would have been great, but we are still pleased with 2nd place to open up a new season in a higher division. Continue reading »

Welcome Erik Wunsch of S2 Style Supply to the Catshack Reports Paintball News. Speaking with Gary Baum, Gary mentioned a new supplier of jerseys that had outfitted some seriously cool product for the likes of Russian Legion to name one big name in the game. Sooo… the Catshack Reports got online with Erik to find out more about this company that has jumped into the jersey business with some product that pro paintball teams like so very much.
