Excuse me but WOW! This years Wasaga Beach Paintball game was hands down and by far the pinnacle of the 2011 season to date. Canada’s biggest game of the year brought out 1920 paintball enthusiasts which is THE new record for paintball in this country. The annual Redneck Festival at Adrenaline Paintball in Melbourne ON was another caliber event the Catshack Reports can easily add to our top ten listing of events for 2011. Swedesboro, NJ – Valken Paintball introduced Mike Nelson as Valken Corps Alberta Regional Commander (ARC). Mr. Nelson joins Hercules Pappadogiannis and Wendell McInnis as leaders of the Valken Corps.
Mike is the founder, manager and captain of Calgary’s Crimson Sabres Woodsball Team, and commonly commands teams for events at the Sabres’ home field, Weekend Warriors. Beyond team leading assignments, Mike has developed a juniors program for the Sabres to introduce players under the age of 18 to the sport of paintball. Continue reading »
Tactical Operations Grand Opening August 5th and 6th
I had the opportunity to take to the phones and speak with Mike Boers. Mike along with his business partners Keith Pol and Derek Metcalfe set out on an adventure in 2009. Mike is no stranger to paintball he was a very active player during the years of 1998 – 2001. His work took him out of the game for a while.

For me the 2010 paintball season was easily the wildest ride in all my years of paintball. Throughout the year I made my way clear across the heart of paintball for Canada right here in Ontario and also had a chance to cross the border for my very first forays into the United States to experience paintball such as it is there.
