Having been around the world from across the U.S to England and Malaysia … I think I can safely say that Wasaga Beach Paintball is indeed a world class facility. This translates into the venue hosting the biggest annual games in the country, this year was no exception!
As the fog lifted and a very light drizzle dissipated, seems once again another landmark event was blessed with pleasant enough conditions for a great game of paintball. It was immediately apparent that a less than normal size group of players were to appear and answer the call of duty. This however translated into a smaller more intense game of paintball.
“Good morning Troops!
Wasaga Beach Paintball will hosting the 2013 JSOC Tippmann Challenge.
Time to get in shape soldier!
Every year the World’s best special operation teams meet for a…”friendly” training operation between the best of the best, The Joint Special Operations Competition or JSOC.
Its pretty incredible to reflect back at one’s own journey, especially if that journey has gone places and done things that would have never even been considered before. It was this same article last year reflecting on 2011 where it was considered how difficult it would be to top that season …. well folks, we did it!
Wasaga Beach, well known as a favorite holiday destination for many here in the province of Ontario. Multitudes enjoy miles of beautiful beaches, fishing, boating and tourism at its best. For us here in the paintball community it has become so much more, THE destination of choice for Canada’s biggest annual paintball games at Wasaga Beach Paintball, a world class paintball facility.
For fans of paintball and possibly (hopefully) Survivorman I have to say – do NOT miss next years D Day paintball scenario game in Wyandotte, Oklahoma – the largest paintball game in the world. I recently had the good fortune (in between editing the new Survivorman series for Discovery Channel – recording my new CD, launching my new knife line with Camillus, launching my new hand made axe with Wetterlings and writing my new book) of making my way down there with my son and his friend to take in 3 out of the 6 straight days of the game.
The Catshack Reports dodged bullets all weekend long! Seems Mother Nature blessed our journeys but apparently misinformed the weather services and told them there would be rain, rain and more rain. Stop listening to the weather services as there was not a single drop of rain and the cat cameras were rolling all weekend long. If you weren’t there on account of a poor weather broadcast you missed out on some awesome paintball! The Catshack Reports Paintball News was on location at Wasaga Beach Paintball to bear first hand witness to the very first players ever to hit Wasaga’s brand new Tippmann Assault Field. This coupled with a celebration of 20 years of being in business made this trip a very special one.
