The much anticipated Defcon Paintball is finally set for its grand opening Sunday July 19th, 2009 and those in the Toronto paintball community couldnt be happier right now.
“The construction began late June and has finally come to a point of readiness.. .we had to delay the opening one day from the 18th of July to Sunday the 19th. We want to conduct one last stress test of all the netting and poles” says owner/proprietor Jose Zaragoza.
The Catshack approves of setting aside that extra day to insure safety requirements are met. So yet another paintball venue appears on the Canadian market as a service dedicated to the paintball population, the more the merrier!
At present there are no current teams sponsored by Defcon Paintball for now we chose not to yet says Jose. Viewing the photos of the site, the field and terrain should prove to another great destination to enjoy paintball there is no doubt. Looking at the photos released, The Catshack will be on hand to enjoy some fine paintball in the very near future at this location.
