EMR’s Toys for Tots

Better late than never we always say. One thing we absolutely love is to publish charity events, better still charity events helping children and youth. The following is EMR’s AAR on their Toys for Tots charity event held earlier this month.

Thank you to ALL of the 71 players that made it out for the event. We have a TON of toys from the event, I’m sure they will make a child’s Christmas very memorable.

As for the games, we ran some mini games throughout the day and had very positive and great feedback. We had 2 capturable flags in all of the games and 1 constant flip flag worth points every 15 minutes. A locked drop box was placed on the field in random locations with a random mission. The general’s had a key for this box so once they got it, they could obtain the mission. Both Red and Yellow teams had a hard fought game on both sides.

Good job EMR and to all you other fields and individuals out there doing your part to help your communities. 2009 has been an awesome year for charity work from everything I have seen in my travels across the internet, I can hardly wait for 2010!
