Results of the UK Scenario Awards held Saturday November 28th, 2009 are in! Previously on The Catshack Reports we introduced our UK brothers and sisters of the Scenario scene there and discussed their awesome awards gala held annually.
The Hilton Hotel in Brighton recently played host to the 2009 UK Scenario Paintball Awards. Representatives from all levels of the UK Scenario scene braved the chilly November weather to attend this black tie event which seeks to recognize the achievements of individual players and teams. This was to be the fifth year of the Awards and the evening was once again hosted by Ian Richardson, chairman of the UK Scenario Paintball Community.
This year the award for “Best Breakthrough Scenario Team” went to SPS who also
scooped “Young Scenario Player Of The Year” with Lawrence Day. The award for “UK Scenario Player Of The Year” was picked up by Andy “Tank” Cannon from the Pathfinders. The “UK Scenario Team Of The Year” trophy went to Warren Wood Rangers with “Commander of the Year” going to Al Murray of Tippmann Scotland who also collected the award for “Outstanding Contribution To UK Scenario Paintball”.
Thanks go to BZ Paintball Supplies, Manic, JT, Tippmann, Warped, the Scottish Warriors, and SWASP for their generous donations of prizes.
Special thanks to Photographer – Andy Newberry for supplying the photos of the awards ceremony.
