Speaking with a good friend of mine, brother Paul Forcier, I am pleased to have The Band Of Brothers Scenario Paintball team out of Western Pennsylvania stop by for a visit at the Catshack today. Heres an interesting group of people with an admirable and lengthy list of achievements and awards. Lets pull up a chair (and for those of us in Canada, grab a Tim Hortons coffee) and see what the Band of Brothers has to say..
The team was formed prior to the 2005 season. We knew that family & friends communicated better on the field than most other communicative relationships between players and we saw the potential to become a well organized and effective unit. Early on we decided our goals on and off the field were to be a team that other players could look up to. We wanted to project an aura of a successful and honorable unit. In the past few years our team has grown significantly, and has earned multiple awards of recognition, magazine coverage, and honorable mention both on and off the field. We decided when we created the team to keep our reputation clean, and to provide a unit that can be looked up to in the scenario paintball community. We don’t strive to win all the awards or recognition, instead we have created a team that compliments the paintball community and as a result we have won those awards, recognition, and honorable mentions – we will forever remain true to our goals.
The team’s overall outlook for the future will still remain the same no matter how big the team gets. We will still enter every game or tournament with positive attitudes. We will work as a unit, and supply any type of support that is needed both on and off the field. As the team grows so will our name. The Band of Brothers team name is definitely becoming a staple in the Western Pennsylvania paintball community.
We have grown to 30 members for this season and we are very proud to have each member on our roster. We are not the typical team as the age range for our team is 16 to 50+ in age. Another added feature for the team is our fully operational Tank that accompanies us to most of our paintball
engagements, complete with our very own Tank Crew. We also do everything from playing to reffing games, we even drove out to Chicago to help ref the UWL event that was held a few months ago.

Like I said.an interesting team with a host of achievements and a group who in my opinion did achieve there objective of establishing themselves as a team that others can look up to. Look for these boys and girls in the staging area at UWL in August at 3 Rivers Paintball Park as well as the big game Nam: Hell’s Jungle and Castle Conquest in the Fall.
