“Jack Frost Bites the Big One” Scenario game was held at Camp X Paintball in Bowmanville this past Saturday January 23rd, 2010 as the first scenario for the field this year. It would appear that the snow and cold temperatures was certainly no deterrent for strong numbers of paintball enthusiasts to appear and let some paint fly.

6400_102345263110488_100000050441234_63712_6591045_nCamp X Paintball extends a great big thank you to all that made it out….

The day started with good weather and a good strong showing of paintballers. The teams were divided into No Tag Players vs. Tagged Players. No tags started out strong fighting as part of Jack Frost’s evil minions quickly overwhelming the Beach Bums base of operations twice and holding it for over 20 minutes trying to freeze them out. The Boys of Summer rallied surviving the frosty onslaught taking control of the frozen base on more then one occasion BUT forgot their golden shovel behind.

Scoring at lunch time had Jack Frost’s team ahead 250 21541_423833435510_782600510_10660397_1862132_nvs. 125. At this point each sides locations were reversed to allow for an even game. After a well earned lunch everyone was back at it full force with neither team gaining the upper hand, until the Boys of Summer took over the upper base and held it for over 20 minutes, unfortunately Jack Frost and his evil minions now trying on there swim gear did not make it into the frozen base until the last few seconds left in the day, for a final count Tags 350 and No Tags 275.
