No Mercy Paintball Team--No Logo 2Historically speaking The No Mercy Paintball Team was formed on April 28th, 2007 by Shane and Corey Swisher & Chris Davis

Over the course of the 2007 season The No Mercy Paintball Team played two 3-man tournaments testing their skills to see if they had what it took to make it in the sport. By the end of the 2007 season Shane, Corey, and Chris had decided to make it a 5 man team and pursue full blown tournament speedball.During the off season the team put the word out that they were seeking players who wanted to play plenty of tournament paintball. Part of the criteria involved seeking like minded people enthusiastic enough to help the team build a name for themselves. To this end they organized and had Custom Team jersey’s made so they looked like a team on the field.

tpa5-man_08-10_1108_7156The start of the 2008 season looked promising. The No Mercy Paintball Team were finally coming together as a team. They had 8 people on the roster that were willing and ready to play. The No Mercy Paintball Team started out in March practicing and getting ready for their first tournament of the year at Splatterpark in Ohio.

Even though it was going to be yet another 3-man event they picked up a another person and took 3 teams under the No Mercy name and played it. By the end of the tournament The No Mercy Paintball Team had a Team in 1st place and the Team’s name was out there. By April The No Mercy Paintball Team was ready for their first of many 5-man events in 2008. It was at this point that the team began to suffer some setbacks as happens with many teams in the game. The No Mercy Paintball Team was forced to end the season earlier than most teams around Ohio. Some of the people on the team had left or just quit playing the sport due to the cost to play every single weekend.

Once again during the off season of 2008 the Swisher’s and the remaining team members were forced to start looking for people to fill the roster for the 2009 season.  As February 2009 rolled around The No Mercy Paintball Team had a full roster of 11 team members and were ready and willing to tackle the tournament scene.

By March The No Mercy Paintball Team were playing all the 3-man and 5-mantpa5-man_08-10_1115_7166 tournaments they could and playing the 5-man events with 2 full 5-man squads. Which was a good way to get the team name out there, but on the other hand was bad because of the cost of putting two teams in each and every event a month. Which also made The Team end yet another season earlier then they wanted too. When the 2009 season finally came to a end The No Mercy Paintball Team roster has again been reduced due to the costs associated with playing paintball.

The No Mercy Paintball Team has the youngest tournament paintballer in the state of Ohio. He has been playing paintball since he was 6 years old and now he is 10. With the 2010 season coming up fast all the Team’s members wish to play at least 1 National Event.
