ATTENTION all scenario ballers!!!
Please note the upcoming fundraiser for the Task Force Raiders. “Scenario Night with the TFR” will be held at Flag Raider’s Indoor Facility located at 259 Gage Ave. in Kitchener on Saturday, January 30, 2010 from 8:00pm-12:00 midnight.
The event is both a fundraising event for the team and the final tryout for 2010. Many big changes to the team format this year and look to be 29 members strong for the upcoming season as of this very moment.
This night should prove to be an exciting event chalk full of continuous scenarios, full of props, challenging objectives, lighting effects and maybe even sound.
To the general public, the night presents an opportunity for first timers and seasoned veterans to play alongside the Task Force Raiders. Emphasis will be placed upon having fun and it will be an educational event for those new to the sport. Members of the TFR have been tasked with teaching/coaching roles while on-field. For members of the Task Force Raiders management team, it is an opportunity to see how team members interact with first-timers. Part of the team’s new focus is to work diligently promoting the sport of paintball to potential new players as well as being paintball ambassadors for this region of Southwestern Ontario.
Pricing for the event is $25.00 entry (inclusive of all the regular stuff) and $80.00 per case of paint. Above all else, it’s a great opportunity for players to dust off their gear and get a quick tune-up in before the start of the winter outdoor scenario season that is quickly approaching.
