Rich Telford began like just about everyone else in paintball. One day he went out, rented paintball equipment and just plain loved the game. Shortly after that he was asked to play for a local team called “Black Sunday”. Del “Windwalker” Taylor recalls his first paintball game in 1997 held at the regional Police Academy. The correct name of the venue was the Kentucky Department of Criminal Justice Training Center. Del recalls, “we were given a 10 minute drill instruction and then thrown to the wolves”.
