Here is a players profile of a young man who is quickly carving a name for himself in the region in which he lives. Welcome Breezy of the Reservoir Dogs Paintball team to The Catshack. When a little bird landed on the shoulder of the editors for our site and mentioned this young up and coming paintball player we couldn’t resist getting hold of him to get the full story.
So here’s our article with Breezy as follows
Hi Breezy, how long have you been playing paintball?
I’ve been playing paintball since I was 14
What were the circumstances surrounding your first “getting into” the game?
What got me into the game was my cousin Steven “Prettylou” Ruiz. He slept over my house one day and told me to get his gear from the car and once I saw his gear I wanted to play the very next day and ever since then I knew this was the sport I wanted to do!
You are a respected member of the Reservoir Dogs….how long have you been with the team and have you played with other teams leading up to joining their ranks
I been with the team for 4 years and I haven’t played with any other teams. I find myself well respected by other teams though despite my age.
Your pretty young, yet you have managed to gain for yourself a bit of a reputation…what are some of the honors bestowed on you at various big games and the like?
YES being 18 and having various people knowing you by reputation is an honor. When attending Big games its good to have a lil reputation because I can go up to Generals and ask them what I can do to help and they say “Bre3zy here’s a mission, I need you and your team to go complete this” its kind of cool that the general hasn’t any doubt in his mind about that missions completion.
You work at a paintball establishment….what, where and what is it that you do?
Yeah, I work at NYC PAINTBALL at 47-11 Van -Dam Street, if anyone wants to
paintball its a great place to go and practice. I practice there every week. When I’m working I referee, run some Laser Tag, and clean the field at night after everyone leaves
What was the #1 highlight of your paintball experience to date i.e favorite game etc
I would have to say winning my first MVP at a Viper Scenario Game. I mean its not an easy format to learn let alone get MVP
What would be the ultimate paintball experience for you as a player if you had the chance?
The ultimate I would have to say is going Pro, I love paintball, playing beside Nicky Cuba would be pretty awesome to lmao
Your finishing high school?…going to college/university?….what does the future hold for you Brandon as far as paintball do you think?
I just finished high school. I’m sending out applications to college’s but as far as paintball I want to become a legend in the game. I want to do something for the sport that’s going to change the game for the better. I want to work towards encouraging more people play the sport
What would you say to young people considering taking up paintball as a sport to convince them it’s the thing to do?
Paintball isn’t for everyone but once I tried it I fell in LOVE with it. At the most the only thing I can encourage them to do is to try it and hope they wind up having the same passion for it as I do
Well there you have it, a young man with a real passion for paintball….good luck Bre3zy…The Catshack Reports hopes you make it pro some day mister!
