Welcome to part three of the 10 Questions series I am asking anyone involved in paintball. The idea behind these articles is to get everyone’s opinions, not just those who are at the highest level of the game but everyone including rec players. Please feel free to email us with your answers.
1. Why do you play paintball?
Paintball is an outlet to express myself in many ways such as being able to get my stress and anger out and being able to feel like for once I can live as loud as I want, mostly for respect.
2. What is your favorite style of play, and why?
Xball and 7man, because they are what I love to play as, well even though competitive fun.
3. What are your plans for the 2010 season?
I plan on playing all of PSP events, NPPL Huntington, Chicago, and Commanders Cup.
4. What is your all time favorite marker you have owned?
Planet Eclipse Ego 07/SL74
5. Where is your favorite field, why?
Fox/Badlandz in Illinois because that is where all of the competition is in my area.
6. Who are the 3 best players in the game?
Matty Marshall, Rich Telford, and Dave Banes
7. What can be done to better the game?
Better promotion of gear, sport/image of sport, and companies and others realizing that they need to give back to the paintball community in many ways.
8. What is your local paintball scene like?
Competitive, all of teams place top 10 or better every event they play.
9. If you could have a mascot what would it be?
A Hawk or something else that is pretty cool.
10. Where will paintball be in 10 years?
I think that things will be back to the way that they were in the early 2000s where paintball was very glorified and there were many teams competing in a million/billion dollar industry.

1. Why do you play paintball?
Because you get to exercise with friends and also get to exercise the mind through strategy.
2. What is your favorite style of play and why?
I like everything that is paintball, I do not care if it is speedball or woodsball, what matters is the good atmosphere.
3. What are your plans for the 2010 season?
Play, no matter where the important thing is to play.
4. What is your all time favorite marker you have owned?
Any mech marker.
5. Where is your favorite field, why?
Tenerife Paintball, on the island of Tenerife, it is mine;)
6. Who are the 3 best players in the game?
This is difficult to answer, I always thought that it is not about 1, 2 or 3 players but the team. You win or lose as a team.
7. What can be done to better the game?
Regulate it, we need a industry wide sanctioning body to set a standard rule book across the board. This will make the sport a better understood game.
8. What is your local paintball scene like?
It is a good mix of experienced players and new people.
9. If you could have a mascot what would it be?
A horse.
10. Where will paintball be in 10 years?
I hope that it is something better, at least a globally unified sport.

1. Why do you play paintball?
I play paintball because it helps me relieve my stress and escape reality, you get out there and instantly forget about everything except the game that you are about to play.
2. What is your favorite style of play, and why?
Well it used to be speedball until I played at the Battle of Hoth. I absolutely would love to play either but if I had to choose it would have to be scenario. Scenario is a slow paced game rather than speedball. You have more people that play together and you meet more people much like yourself.
3. What are your plans for the 2010 season?
My plans for this season is to play a couple games with the Band of Brothers, but mostly it is going to be taking pictures.
4. What is your all time favorite marker you have owned?
It was an 08 Vicious Ego, it was laser engraved white skulls and the gun was green. I only used it once in a speedball game but it will never compare to any other marker I get.
5. Where is your favorite field, why?
Mountain Valley Paintball Park because it’s a place to play paintball and a place to bring your family. It has a large area for you to bring your kids and let them play while you get away and play some paintball.
6. Who are the 3 best players in the game?
I am not very familiar with everyone in paintball yet but I have heard of some names in the sport. Paul Forcier would have to be my number 1 pick, he plays for Band of Brothers. They are a scenario team in southwestern Pennsylvania, you can find them here (www.abandofbrothers.com). Tim Montressor would have to be my 2nd pick, I met him up at All American Paintball park and he seemed to be a very nice guy. Alex Fraige would be 3rd, my son loves him.
7. What can be done to better the game?
The only thing I think that needs fixed or done to better the game would be to get more people interested in the sport.
8. What is your local paintball scene like?
I have a couple fields close to me, the closest and the one I go to most is Mountain Valley Paintball Park. I have a big family and it is the only field I know that is family oriented and my kids love it.
9. If you could have a mascot what would it be?
Squirrel, cause I am always eating nuts…Cashews that is.
10. Where will paintball be in 10 years?
I hope paintball will be more well known. I hope we can get more people involved and get more people educated on the sport of paintball. Hopefully maybe even seen on TV, just like when you watch football.
