T-shirts are probably one of the most popular advertisement sources out there. Rich or poor, everyone wears them. They’re a comfortable, simple, affordable piece of attire that never goes out of style and looks good on anyone. They are accepted around the world. The pen is mightier than the sword, and when you’ve got ink on a t-shirt, it gets attention.
So what is with all of this t-shirt talk you might wonder?
Why would the guys and gal at the Catshack Reports care about you wearing a T-shirt? The wheels started turning in our little heads about the popularity of the ever present Tee and the promotion that goes into them.
We are declaring the first ever Catshack Reports inspired International Paintball T-Shirt Day. What we want everyone to do is pull out your favorite paintball t-shirt, slap it upon your torso and welcome any and all chances to promote the sport we all know and love through your shirts.
This was inspired by a recent trek through the great north by Tom “Tomcat” Cunningham while wearing one of his Tippmann shirts. He was stopped multiple times by perfect strangers that wanted to talk paintball with him. The opportunity to grow the sport through simple conversation, word of mouth, is the best way to promote the game. What better way to express your love and admiration for the sport than by talking about it with a new or potential player?
So, get those shirts on! June 30, 2010 will dawn a new holiday for us ballers. Wear your favorite team, sponsor or product label proudly.
Spread the word. Positive Promotion of paintball!
Be sure to send along a good photo of you in your paintball Tee on International Paintball TShirt Day on June 30th and send it along to the Catshack Reports @ catshackreports@gmail.com
