Formed in 2005, the Sons of Vengeance squad started out as five guys out to have some fun recapturing our youth. In five short years we have taken this “weekend warrior” team to a recognizable powerhouse in our local Paintball community. The original five members, Johnny Tac, Davey Jones, Stacker Steve, Eddie at the Ready and Zombie Ed are all still playing together. Eighteen members (and growing) strong, we play with a sense of pride and sportsmanship that rises above the level of most professional athletes.
The SoV squad plays woodsball and scenario games but we excel in “Close Quarters Combat”. House to house, room clearing tactical paintball is our favorite forum. This year we are starting to play limited ammo, role play games. We are adopting the rules created by the “TacTen Paintball League”. Our philosophy is simple: Have fun! Win or lose, you have to be enjoying the day, if not, then what’s the point in playing? We encourage fair play, honesty and integrity within our team. If you’re going to cheat, don’t bother playing with or against us, it won’t be pretty! Patience with newbie’s is also encouraged, remember, we were all there once too.

If you are looking to join a team, the criteria is simple: play with us for a season regularly, have a good sense of the game, have good communication skills, play by the rules and be able to laugh at yourself(don’t take yourself too seriously). After a season of play, if you want to join and we like you, you’re in.
Schedule:
Our schedule is simple, we play regularly once a month from March to November (December, January and February are way too cold for us old men). It’s always the last Sunday of every month, rain or shine. Throughout the season we will attend various scenario games. This year we played “Fallout-Wasteland” at Poco-Loco paintball, we attended “Invasion of Normandy (IoN)” at Skirmish U.S.A., July 17th & 18th, “Alien vs. Predator” at Cousins Paintball, Sunday, September 19, 2010 and “TTPL” October 9th and 10th at On Target Paintball.
