The fight against Autism!

Paintballers we are gearing up to fight for a cause!! This will be the 2nd Annual Autistic Fundraiser held at Paintball World Orlando, Florida!

Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and autism are both general terms for a group of complex disorders of brain development. These disorders are characterized, in varying degrees, by difficulties in social interaction, verbal and nonverbal communication and repetitive behaviors. They include autistic disorder, Rett syndrome, childhood dis-integrative disorder, pervasive developmental disorder-not otherwise specified (PDD-NOS) and Asperger syndrome. ASD can be associated with intellectual disability, difficulties in motor coordination and attention and physical health issues such as sleep and gastrointestinal disturbances. Some persons with ASD excel in visual skills, music, math and art.

This event will be hosted by a Paintballer in our local community that holds this cause dear to heart.. Alex Medina “SteamRoller” Captain of the Narcoosee Swamp Soldiers has a son that is struggling with Autism. Alex is certainly a strong and positive advocate in finding a cure and ways to help Autistic children have a better quality of life. 1 out of 88 children born have Autism. This is no longer just a disorder,, this has become an epidemic and they desperately need our help!

3-Man tournament and rec-ball play:
$60 entry fee per person for 3-man tournament includes entry air and case of paint. $26.95 Rentals for rec-ball players; includes gun, mask, and air. $15 for players with guns and gear. $45 per case of paintballs.$5 of each rec-ball and $10 for each tournament player entry and all of Raffle proceeds will go directly to SCAG!

All proceeds from food sales also go directly to SCAG!

Along with this great cause we are doing something terrific for FIRST TIME PLAYERS!!!!
FIRST TIMERS,,,,You are invited to a full day of Paintball! This event will specialize in teaching, guiding, and mentoring first time players!! You will be able to hold the very first paintball markers in your hands and have a go at shooting it! Mr. Bob Gurnsey “The Creator of Paintball” will be in attendance! Bob will be holding History seminars throughout the day, teaching YOU where Paintball began! He will be assisted by Tina “GoldenGirl” Ruzzo from Respecting Paintball and The Catshack Reports.. The two of them will guide you through the safety steps and teach you how to get on the field and play the proper way.. Fear Not “First Timers” you will only be playing with people that are of the same skill level as yourselves,, (Starters) This event will be held in conjunction with The Autistic Fund Raiser “hosted by Alex Medina” You can come out, play, learn and have a great time while helping a GREAT CAUSE!!!
