On Sunday September 27th, 2012 at 10:00 am, The Phoenix Project 27 “Act of Valor†will commence. The year is 2012. When the rescue of a kidnapped CIA operative leads to the discovery of a deadly terrorist plot against the U.S., a team of SEALs is dispatched on a worldwide manhunt. Each time the SEAL’s accomplish their mission, a new piece of intelligence reveals another shocking twist to the deadly terror plot. The Phoenix Project is an eight hour, day-long, continuous, multi-field paintball experience that incorporates multiple missions and sub missions, with points awarded for completion of each task, massive firefights, routine patrols and more.
Players are divided into two teams, each team consisting of multiple squads, each squad having its own squad leader, Medic, Engineer and Radio Operator. Teams are commanded by a General. Missions are sent to each General by a Game Master.
All players are welcome from first time players to seasoned veteran. The Fall Phoenix Project will have something for everyone, from complex missions and objectives to massive firefights. Last year over 325 players participated. Complete Rental packages are available, as well as on-site vendor displays and more. In the end, scores are tabulated and a winning team is announced. Before players depart door prizes are drawn in a random raffle and prizes are awarded for best themed costumes.
