The latest and greatest news from GearHeadz Paintball in Oregon, its always great to hear all about a paintball company that is growing, especially in today’s economy. Ladies and Gentlemen, without further ado, more from GearHeadz.
We opened a paintball showroom and pro-shop (previously we had been special order, online & event sales only) in April, and yesterday our local Chamber of Commerce came out to do an official ribbon cutting ceremony. Our little shop was packed with about 40 people from different local industries, all clamoring to know more about paintball. It was an exciting event, and greatly exceeded our expectations. At the end of the ribbon cutting, our staff was presented with a plaque in recognition of our “Contribution to the growth and continued prosperity of the City of Hillsboro.”
From our owner, Crystal DuVall: “I think paintball business owners sometimes feel like they are conducting business on the fringe of industry, and tend to hide out on the outskirts of town afraid of reaching out to the community. This event really drove home that by being involved in the local community and inviting newcomers of all walks of life into our businesses, we can really display the sport in it’s best light – as a way to come together with people in a connection that builds relationships.”
Since the article you did on us a couple of years ago, we have totally revamped our website (www.gearheadzpaintball.com) including an online Pro Shop and with updates on several projects that we have built. We opened the brick and mortar showroom & service center in April to better serve all of our customers whether they are in the Portland, Oregon area or they are national or international.
