The industry is hurting! This is something that is not shocking or news to anyone who follows paintball. There are many on certain internet forums who would argue with you on this statement, perhaps this is a reaction caused from fear that their preferred aspect of the sport is in jeopardy.  If you speak to those in the know they will confirm that the economy is taking a huge toll on the industry as a whole but even more so for tourney ball. Unfortunate as that is you can see the ripple effect from the drop off of players for this side of the game.  From the Smart Parts layoffs, to Paintball Sports Magazine calling it quits to local fields and stores closing their doors. Major paintball leagues have come and gone and there are many ideas floating on how to fix this great sport of ours. Continue reading »
