2010, The Season that was …
In 2010 we continued moving our team forward. We attended a bunch of great events in multiple states. We were not immune from the down turn in the economy as we did less events this year than in years past. Since we did fewer events, we leaned towards charity events in which to play. Summertime fun….Coverage catch-up!
The summer months included three events for us this year. One at a new field in CT, one for a great cause and one with our old friends at EMR Paintball.
The Summer started off with a trip to our new friends at Geko Paintball. Chicken Fried, Media, Smack and R-Rod headed down and played on the SWAT side trying to stop the Drug Cartel. While we usually only make two trips to EMR, we added a third this year as Western Wars was made a fund raiser for the families of fallen firefighters and police officers. This made this an event we just could not miss. Great field, great players and a great cause. Continue reading »
The Maltese Militia made the annual trek to EMR Paintball for the kick off event of the summer season. We always enjoy our weekend trips to EMR to see old friends and make new ones. Continue reading »
The Maltese Militia Paintball team is proud to announce another winner of our Custom Prize Package.
On Sunday May 16th, the Maltese Militia attended a fund raiser for the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation at Xtreme Paintball in Agawam, MA. Our Custom Prize Package was donated as a single prize as part of the fund raising. In the end over $1000 dollars was raised for a great cause. This was the first annual Guns for Hoses Event and plans are already being made for the 2nd annual event in 2011. Continue reading »

The Maltese Militia Paintball Team had our first outing of 2010. Several members made the drive to one of the friendliest indoor fields we have ever been to. Hornetsnest Paintball is a gem that is tucked into the fields of Eastern NY state. With an owner who would give the shirt off his back, to the heated indoor field and a fine proshop, we always enjoy our trips to play at Hornetsnest. Continue reading »
