After an incredible weekend of over 120 teams and 20 vendors at the festival-styled PSP New Jersey event held behind TopGun Paintball Park, the new PSP Champion has been crowned! Tampa Bay Damage is now the Professional Champion after beating San Diego Dynasty with a score of 6-1 in the finals. Los Angeles Ironmen and Edmonton Impact placed 3rd and 4th respectively. The Catshack Reports in the company of Fern of Kobra Line rolled into Joliet, Illinois on Friday, May 20 at 5:30am. After catching a couple of hours of needed sleep we geared up for a much anticipated weekend of paintball excitement. First and foremost it was something of a disappointment to learn, running into both Thomas Taylor and Junior Brown of Sacramento XSV, that we would not have the pleasure of seeing them compete having been eliminated the day before by just one player. After probably one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make in my entire life, I have chosen to rejoin my childhood friends on Dynasty.
Ever since I was 14 years old my dream was to play professional paintball. I wanted to compete with the best, be the best and be compensated the best. I dreamed of our sport being equal to football, basketball and baseball. Although we have not reached that level yet, I still have faith that one day we will-maybe not in my time-but with the proper people involved and support of everyone, we can make this a reality.
